Fellow Daedalians,

 Start planning now for our two major fundraising opportunities this summer. The Daedalian golf tournament is always great fun and raises a lot of money for our scholarship program. For the second year, the airshow won't have either the T-birds or the Blue Angels. We won't raise the amount of money we would with a demonstration team, but our participation keeps us active for when we get one, and we still raised $1000 last year.

The Flight Indoctrination Program should start this summer. We're asked the local JROTC detachments to nominate qualified cadets for ground and flight instruction through their initial solo. We will have a selection board next month, and should announce our nominee at the May meeting.
